ABOUT BA NA HILLS
The name Ba Na Hills is derived from a banana. Since there were numerous banana trees on the hill when the French discovered Ba Na, the peak of the Lord’s mountain at 1,489 meters above sea level, they gave it the name “Banane” in French. So gradually, the Vietnamese began to incorporate it into Ba Na. Ba Na are known as Ba Na or Nui Ba Na.

Travel to Ba Na Hills is most attractive from April to August each year. At this time of year, Ba Na is incredibly popular with tourists, and the weather is perfect for taking in the sights.
Particularly, there are four temperature changes every day. Ba Na’s morning temperature is comparable to that of spring. Ba Na’s noontime weather is bright and warm. In Ba Na, the afternoon begins at 3:00 PM and ends at 6:00 PM. Ba Na’s weather gets chilly at night, just like in the winter.
Ba Na Hills – a destination of 4 seasons in one day
If you don’t mind remaining longer, you should visit Ba Na between 8 AM and 4 PM, or from 7 PM. Cable cars are the preferred means of transportation up to the park, which is located at the top of a mountain. Although there are six cable car lines that go to Ba Na, there are always long waits when most people arrive and depart.
It is better for you to leave early for the park at around 8 AM. Due to your timely arrival before the morning rush, you could board a cable car immediately without having to wait in line. Try to come early so you can avoid this happening when the tour buses arrive at around 9 AM.
Since it was still nearly empty, it was a smart decision to head directly for the Golden Bridge. The bridge becomes nearly excessively congested after 9 AM.
